He knew he could have held on a little longer.....Y.Hong came back into concious, in time for his motorcycle to avaid a large tree in front of him. He shook his head, trying to clear it, but to no avail. He knew everyone was worried, he knew this was not going acording to plan... but he had to find her... he had to....

He pulled out a GPS from under his cloak, and the immediate red blinker shown itself on the screen. It was thier 5th Anniversary that he bought her those earrings. How could he forget... that smile, that laughter, that look. He came back into conciousness agian, this time nearly crashing again into a signboard. He shook his head, more violently this time.

He placed the GPS back under his cloak, and raced across the road, as the sun began to set along the hillside.

A few hours later, he finally came to the most abandoned part of Kampar. Its houses, all deserted, its windows trashed by weather and time. THe streets are empty and debries filled the streets. The only sound was the endless thumping of the motorcycle's engine.

Suddenly, as he came to antoher turn, there was a huge red flare that lit the nightsky. A large angle filled the sky. It was an emergency call. Quickly, he turned his motorbike in that direction in one swift move, reved the engine and sped towards it, praying 'Keep her safe.. I'm coming.'

Alex missed another shot, and in return another barrage of shots came in reply. He dodged them in time, only to be faced with another barrage.

'Sir! THere's too many of them!'

Alex continued to return fire.

'Hold your line... he's coming. We have to hold the line!'

The soldiers nodded, then turned and fired back at the enemy. mOne of them suddenly got hit in the shoulder, and he fell, letting out a cry of pain.

'Snipers!'

Alex ducked immediately, in time to see a loud clank and a gunshot mark where his head was seconds ago.

'Sir we can't hold them any longer..'

Alex looked at him, at the fallen soldeier, at the bleeding wound, and at the unconcious Bee.

'We have to.'

He stood up.

'Sir, what are you...'

He turned back, and smiled at him.

'It's been an honour, soldier.... '

'Sir don't!'

It was too late. Alex already leaped out of cover and into the open.

'Come and get me!! It's you isn;t it, Liao!! It's you isn't it!?' and rampaged towards the woods. THe enemy soldiers opened fire, and caught Alex in the shoulder, the knees and his chest. But he pressed on, and fired two more shots, killing two soldiers before falling to the ground, no longer moving.

As darkness creeped around him, the last thing he heard was the rev of a motorcycle, the drawing of a pistol, and quick shots.

'You made it...'
