Shout Out!!

Our Story - Chapter 2
The lone figure ventured thru the halls of Block B alone. He wore a long coat, and a long object covered in bandage was clung to his back. The only light that illuminated the place was a little bonfire in the midle of the stoney pavements. Around it, several children stood by the flames, warming themselves. One of them saw him, and stood up and began to run in fear. The rest followed suit. Slowly, he took out a piece of bread from underneath his coat, and offered it to the little kids. They stopped running, and one of them took it from him, and they began to share it. The lone figure looked at thier tattered clothes, and thier surroundings. It was horrible. Since the takeoover of the Cheng, the entire village of Block B has been pillaged to nothing.

Once the little children was done, one of them walked up to him, and smiled. 'Th..thank you.'

Before he could reply, there was a loud shot of a pistol that echoed throughout the walkway. The children shrieked and ran. A group of people began to approach the figure, armed with M16s. They were all clad in red uniforms, the crest of a Leopard was on thier chest pockets. One of them had a feather beret, and he closed into the lone figure, and smirked.

'You... know that food is forbidden? If they wanted food, they could have bought it from the army store. Only 65,000 a piece! Isn;t that cheap!' the other soldiers began to laugh.

The lone figure replied. '... more like robbery.'

They stopped laughing. 'What did you say! Are you questioning his higheness's authority! The money will be used to finish the entire building project to surround the lake! Imagine how grand it would be! And you say it's robbery?'

'If that was true... why the need to make the people hungry?'

The feather beret took out his pistol and pointed it at the lone figure's head. 'Heh. Foolish. You do noe I can kill you for insulting the majesty's authority?'

'I do not confine myself to rules that are used for greed.'

'Ah.... one with guts. Now, show me your identity card, pheasent. And for what you just said, I am fining you with 150,000. Pay up!'

The lone figure remained still. 'Keep that gun.'

The soldier stared at him, angry. 'What.. did you SAY!' and pulled the trigger.

In a flash, the one figure vanished, and appeared behind the red-bereted officer. 'What the...' and with a jab, knocked him out.

The other soldiers raised thier rifles, but before they could take aim, the lone figure blazed towards them at top speed. 'Too slow....' and before they knew it, he pulled out the long object behind him, revealing a katana. He zoomed past them, and stooped low at the end of the line. One by one, the rifles snapped into two.

'Why you....' they drew thier pistols, but as they did, another flash, and they all fell to the ground unconcious.

The lone figure smiled. 'You're late.'

The other, who just took out the soldiers, wore a hood. As the figure stood up, it suddenly took out a pistol, and pointed it at the lone figure. Without thinking, it opened fire. There was a loud bang, a cry of pain, and then silence. The red-beretted figure that was on the ground lay dead, his pistol losely clung to his right hand.

The hood was pulled over her head, revealing a fair young lady. 'My apologies, senior. General Y.Hong is very precise with our disguises. Especially if we are going to infiltrate this far into Block B.'

The lone figure nodded. 'Thank you for that. What is the message?'

'You are to find your way into the Block's main power area and cut out the power sources. The General's forces are situated two miles from here, and once the power is cut, we'll will go in and secure the area.'

There was a pause. 'He thinks she is here?'

The officer nodded. 'We don't know.. but since the storm, they had been seperated. The closest shelter would be in BLock B. But it's enemy territory so...'

'...so you need me to infiltrate it. Yes, yes... I get it.'

The lone figure walked a few paces away, then stopped. He pulled a cloak out from his coat, and covered his face. 'Tell the general we will find her... we all will. This is troublesome..'

The officer saluted. 'Yes, Major Kiat!' then smiled. 'Don't say that... we're all worried about her too.'

Jing Kiat looked back and then smiled. 'Then wait for my good news, Seargent Siew Li.' and dissapeared into the darkness.

'Oh?.... So, he sent someone here?'

The officer was trembling. Before him, Vi'Comte President Cheng You sat behind the desk. His expression was less than a happy one.

'Your higheness, when we lost contact with the security forces at Block B, we immediately sent recon to that area. But when we got there.....'

Cheng stood up, and with a quick move, drew his saber and pointed the tip at the officer's throat. It was so quick that even the guards didn't manage to read his movements. 'So you failed me.... yes?'

'Pl.. please you highness.... I... I'll... I don't...'

Cheng smiled, and withdrew the sword. 'Don't fail me another time. Tell me... one of the officer's uniforms were stolen?'

The officer was dumbfounded. 'Yes your highness, but how'd you..'

Cheng smiled. 'Because I have an IQ of 200.' and with that, he pierced the saber through the officer's heart. Once again, the guards didn't manage to catch his movements. Then, he turned to his subordinates. 'Give the order. An infiltrator has entered sector B, impersonating an officer. Find him.'

His guards saluted, and left the room.

'If Y.Hong wants a war... I'll give him a war.'

Cheng left the study, and then, walked into a small room. He opened the door, and closed it. Slowly, he fumbled across the table and found a candle. He lit it.

A shadowy figure appeared behind Cheng. He smiled. 'You heard that, Envy? Y.Hong's men is here... and they are looking for something....' The shadow smiled back. 'Kill... kill him....' Cheng smirked this time. 'Yes.. kill him.... kill them all!' The shadowy figure let out a horrible laugh, and then, like a dark shadow, it melted into the ground, and vanished.
