Shout Out!!
*****************************************************************************
Jing Kiat tried to sit up, but the pain in his chest was overwhelming.
'Where am I...'
Bee Yoke rushed to his side.
'You cant get up yet, you wounds are not healed properly.'
He looked at Bee Yoke again.
'Am I dreaming?'
She smiled.
'No... You're alive.'
'Then.. you're... YOU'RE?!!'
Bee Yoke smiled, and nodded. Tears of joy flowed down his cheeks, as he reached out and hugged her. 'Thank god!! We were so worried!! But how.... arggh!' as he tried to sit up again.
She laughed, as sh held him down. 'I'm ok....' and smiled.
'But I don't understand.. I was killed...' then he remembered. Siew Li....
'Its not her fault.'
Jing Kiat looked at Bee Yoke, confused, as the anger that was starting to build up was cooled a little.
'She saved your life.'
'SAVED my life? SHe pierced her blade into me!! Cough! Cough!!'
Bee Yoke sat him down again. 'Dont get too upset.. that won;t do you any good.'
He looked around. 'But... where are we?'
'We're deep inside Block B.'
Jing Kiat looked at her, eyes wide open.
'I don't understand...'
Bee Yoke calmed him down. 'I'll explain... but promise me one thing.'
Jing Kiat looked at her, and nodded.
'Rest properly.. cause if you don't... we wont make it out? Ok?' and smiled.
That very same smile that would bring any FETG-1 member back to his or her spirits. Jing Kiat finally knew why everyone was willing to risk thier lives to find her back again. Being so calm even though they were in a ditch... she's that strong of a character. Jing Kiat can;t help but smiled, and nodded.
'I promise.'
Bee Yoke stood up, and kept the basin. Then, she turn and looked at Jing Kiat. 'We're in BLock B now. Liao brought me here. Y.Hong trusted him to keep me safe when the storm hit the base... but... he betrayed us.. he betrayed us all.'
Jing Kiat looked at her. 'That bastard....' and clutched his fists. 'Then you must have had a hard time, alone and all...'
Bee Yoke wiped her tears away, then smiled. 'I am fine. I thought that was the worst of all.. until I saw Siew Li. Then, I had thought the war was over. Cheng had infiltrated many of the members of the Rebellion. I thought all was lost.'
'But then, one night, Siew Li came to me. I was cool towards her at first... but then, she told me... everything.....' Jing Kiat listened intently as Bee yoke told her everything she knew. When she was done, a smile appeared before his lips.
'Then... all I need is some rest...'
Bee Yoke nodded. 'I hope Y.Hong knows what he's doing.'
Bee Yoke looked at him, with a gaze of assurance that made Jing Kiat feel so alienated. He gave up, as she said, almost to herself. 'I believe him', and smiled.
'I'll get us out of here.... you'll see.' as Bee Yoke nodded.
Jing Kiat looked under the bed, and true to her words, his katana was there, lying on the ground. As he reached to grab it, he thought to himself.
'Siew Li you idiot... you could have at least told me...' as he drew it, the blade glistenning with silver rays of moonlight that shown down upon them from the dungeon's windows.
